KARACHI, Sindh High Court (SHC) has sought copy of Supreme Court (SC) orders on removal of the name of model Ayyan Ali from ECL.
A contempt of court plea filed by Ayyan Ali against non removing her name from ECL despite court orders came up for hearing before SHC Monday.
The counsel for Ayyan Ali could not present the copy of SC orders with regard to federation appeal plea.
Counsel for Ayyan Ali told the court SC had rejected federation appeal plea at elementary stage.
Justice Farooq Shah remarked “ where is copy of SC orders. SC might have given some order.
The court while seeking the copy of SC orders on March 3 adjourned the hearing of the case.
The petitioner has taken plea in the petition that SHC had ordered for removing name of Ayyan Ali from ECL on January 19 but name of model girl is not being removed from ECL despite court’s orders. Therefore, contempt of court’s proceedings be initiated.
